Technical and cost responsibility for engine controls and hybrid supervisor calibration.

EMS project calibration engineer for customer gasoline-hybrid hyper-car programme. Responsible for co-ordination of functional calibration team, calibration of key system functionalities, data-set management, directing calibration testing programme, and key technical contact for customer OEM on all EMS calibration topics on engine and hybrid control.

Calibration engineer for diesel engine management, covering a spectrum of functional areas. Responsible for testing and development as well as interfacing to customer OEMs on technical details, and supporting activities at customer development sites and international testing.Functional Areas:- Software release measurements- Exhaust sensor diagnostics and functional behaviour- Fuel path correction and learning functionality- Engine speed governor controls- Specialist in air and exhaust path actuator controls- Specialist in air and exhaust path physical modelling

-Diesel engine EMS on board diagnostic calibration-On board diagnostic certification documentation preparation and consultation

• In charge of a team of multiple students, and responsible for leading them in the design of all systems and parts within the vehicle chassis.• Involved with design and development of multiple areas of the car e.g. suspension geometry, steering system, driver ergonomics, powertrain packaging, spaceframe• Meeting and developing working relationships with external sponsors to secure expertise, parts and finances for the Formula Student project
