The position has 39 FTE’s reporting to the Manager through a number of coordinators and Team Leader positions.The purpose of the position was to Ensure Council’s polices, programmes and directions are implemented in a timely and cost effective manner through effective planning scheduling and monitoring. Provide technical and administrative support to the Director in the organisation and control of efficient Engineering and Building operations. Provide professional and technical advice to stakeholders in relation to Council’s planning and decision-making processes.  Strategically manage the Ranger, City Watch and Waste Management Services. 1990 - 2005 Team Leader Infrastructure Management Services – City of JoondalupProject manages the City’s Capital Works Program to meet the Infrastructure Management and Operations Directorate’s objectives and goals. Main area of responsibility was the delivery of the City’s Capital Works Programme ($12 Million) utilising a multi discipled internal and external Project Management Team. Managed the core activities within Infrastructure Management Services, including Internal Design Unit, External Term Design Consultancy (Currently Connell Wagner Engineers), Sub-divisional Approvals Unit, Traffic Management Unit, Landscaping Unit. This position directly supervised five coordinators under each sub unit, along with additional seven sub-unit staff.
