Developing an underground paleo-placer gold mine using non blasting techniques and mining surfical placer deposits using proper open pit mining procedures

Conversion of an old underground mine to modern mechanized mining methods, and the construction of development of a modern mining facility using gravity, floatation and cyanidization to extract the precious metals. Operation and development of reserves over a 12 year period. Continuing to consult for the mine as it is a sister company of my present company.

Responsible for the Engineering and design of the mine using a longhole blasting technique. Overseeing of the Geology department in overall activities

Sr Underground engineer in the design of and implementation of engineering to both the McCoy and Cove Operations. The underground mine was designed to mine the higher grade portions of the deposits using both a development extraction and/or a long hole mining techniques followed by backfilling prior to the open pit mining through and below.

Responsible for the Geology Department during the process of initiating production at the Lupin Mine.Later as Sr. Geologist responsible for development of the underground.

Responsible for the geological development and evaluation of the Cameron Lake Propertythrough a mechanized ramping, diamond drilling and geological mapping program over a 2 year program. Underground superintendent of a 8 week underground mapping, sampling and drifting program on the Doc Property in Northern British Columbia

Starting as a Jr. Mine Geologist rising to Mine Geologist, Sr Mine Geologist to Chief Mine Geologist I was responsible for beat geology primarily then as Sr Geologist, I was responsible firstly for the Verna Mine re-opening and operation then as Chief Mine Geologist for the entire operation until closure of the mine.
