Ohio native with a passion for learning through new experiences. After earning my bachelor's degree in Biology in Boone, North Carolina, I went on to be an assistant English teacher in Spain for two years. Afterwards, I developed my knowledge and experience in the Netherlands while earning my master's degree in Infection and Immunity at Utrecht University. I have developed a keen interest in biomedical research, and I am seeking to advance my knowledge and skills by pursuing a PhD in immunology and immunotherapeutics at The Ohio State University. I aspire to contribute to the understanding of the immune system and its potential to advance treatments and combat diseases. If I'm not exploring hands-on, I am learning through whatever book I am currently reading or taking walks with my highly energetic dog :)
