Employed by KDS to manage contractors during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of large commercial buildings. This included developing QC measures, contract management and HSE. The first project was for DRAX Power Station. This is the largest power station in Europe. I was brought in to finalize all civil and structural work, commission.

Kurdistan Iraq

• Contracted as a PMC. to Crescent Petroleum, based in Kurdistan, Iraq on KhorMor Gas Field KM500 Expansion. Held accountable for Managing EPC Contractors on behalf of the CLIENT in the building of a 1500-person.
• Inspection of EPC contractors plan and design
• Inspect EPC contractors submitted work schedule for viability and possible logic errors
• Ensure that the EPC contractors followed a safe working construction plan
• Ensure that specifications and quality of work were adhered to and schedules were met
• Reported directly daily to the Project Director

Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

• Transferred from upstream project to downstream activities for South Tank Farm, oversaw fibre optics and local control room installation, upgrade of stormwater migration plans and major civil/structural tasks in.
• Directed all main and subcontractors (100+ FTEs) covering groundworks and installation of fibre optic cabling throughout all the downstream facilities including the main refinery.
• Managed multiple civil and structural downstream work fronts in the expansion and support of the heavy oils development
• Controlled and implemented health & safety, quality, resourcing, and manpower tracking to ensure timely delivery by conducting daily on-site meetings and adding value engineering solutions to help expedite each process.
• Managed the installation of multiple HDD (horizontal directional drilling) projects in support of the fibre optic network. This included several major highway crossings of up to 200m.

North Kuwait

• Assigned to Kuwait Oil Companies (KOC) $50BN expansion programme) with WorleyParsons as Preferred Management Consultant for all major projects, managed all civil and structural aspects of upstream construction and.
• Supervised 13 Individual drilling patterns consisting of 500 wellheads and central manifold that connected via the main piping network which fed into central Infield Satellite Station (ISS) and pumped downstream to.
• Coordinated all infrastructure groundworks such as roads, culverts, and bridges, and ensured operational signoff
• Managed contractors/sub-contractors throughout the project lifecycle and confirmed monthly progress, developed HSE plan and method statements, handled issuing of permits and witnessed/signed off each stage of.

Al Aḩmadī, Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

• Engaged in 2014 to work on large-scale complex construction project initiated in 2012 to build brand new Ahmadi KOC Office block housing 1200 staff complete with three-storey basement car park and storage facility.
• Ownership of civil and structural delivery including groundworks and landscaping, security fencing, guardrooms, car parks, culverts, storm drains, 1 million brick façade, steel superstructure, stairways, and sewage.
• Monitored daily progress, developed HSE plans, managed contractors, inspected/signed off completed works, tracked progress, reviewed engineering design specifications, and developed Work Method Statements

Dubai/Iraq

• Sept 2013 – July 2014.  Project Manager - Civil Structural, GTL International, Dubai. Served as PMC representative on SIBA natural gas full field development construction project in Iraq. Supervised EPC and local.

Afghanistan

Started first project in Afghanistan in Urozgan province on bore-hole drilling projects for LogCap. Deployed to this location by myself to oversee and assist operations in drilling deep water wells in support of the US military Army Core of Engineers.
