Stanley Black & Decker is a global manufacturer and marketer of regulatory agency compliant consumer electrical products for use in and around the home with engineering design centers in Towson MD, Brockville ON, Spennymoor UK, and China with primary manufacturing in China, Mexico & Brazil and collectively a $2B business.- Developed over 30 corded and cordless consumer products and managed their successful market introduction- Collaborated in global functional design & development team, while productively leading multiple concurrent projects demanding a tight 10 month development window, travelling to Chinese supplier factories as needed to facilitate tooling & production startups.- Judiciously directed & enlisted the efforts of the global team members, subject matter experts and China suppliers with tact, diplomacy, detailed focus and attentive listening to garner team trust and to confirm expectations are realistic and achievable.- Transferred key lawnmower manufacturing from Canada to China in 2004 and assisted the transfer of NA lawnmower business from US to Mexico in 2005.
