I want to help improve organisations and the communities resilience, by helping develop appropriate risk management plans and procedures to preferably prevent but where necessary responded to emergencies.At Outdoors Victoria, I was project manager developing the inaugural Australian Adventure Activity Standard (AAAS) and Good Practice Guides (GPGs). The AAAS is a national safety framework to help providers deliver adventure experiences like rock climbing or sea kayaking safely. My Bachelor of Emergency Management and experiences as a volunteer fire-fighter, bushwalking search & rescue member and outdoor education group leader provided added depth to what I was able to bring to the AAAS and GPGs.
