LCADesign was developed by the CSIRO for the Cooperative Research Centre for Construction Innovation (CRCCI) to calculate the environmental impacts of commercial buildings before construction. The CRCCI is a $64m consortium comprising government, research and industry partners.Key areas of responsibility and achievements are: Negotiated the licence to develop and globally distribute LCADesign and the associated life-cycle inventory databases. Managed the ongoing development of the software and supporting databases, and the rollout of LCADesign across academia and industry.Designed and planned the move from a single user PC product to a global cloud based solution.Established a network of scientists, architects and engineers including senior CSIRO specialists to assist in the development and rollout of LCADesign.Established a network of distributors and representatives in Australia, Netherlands and US.Currently lead the sales and development of environmental product declarations and life cycle inventory databases and their application to commercial building.

Itree deliver cloud based regulation, compliance and enforcement management systems to government and semi-government agencies throughout Australia & New Zealand. For eight months spread over four years Murray helped the Sales Director prepare responses to tenders from New Zealand and Australian government departments and statutory organisations. Itree won the majority of these tenders. Involvement ceased when Itree expanded its sales team. Itree now employs over ninety staff

MDS was eventually installed in over one thousand installations across Australia.Led the development of `SAFSTOCK’, a purchase order/stock control system for the Federal Government’s Lithgow Small Arms Factory. Responsible for systems design, implementations and support whilst managing the sales and marketing staff . The software was extended to include point of sale invoicing and purchase ordering.
