I am a professional engineer with over 40 years of experience in the design and construction management of civil infrastructure projects. I have a background in design development and quality assurance with experience in managing projects from initial conception, through design development, to implementation.I continually build on client relations and budget and schedule controls which leads to better problem resolution. Timely and effective communication with clients, team members and approving agencies is a part of the success of the projects I have worked on and managed.I am passionate about the field I work in. Civil engineering provides a service to our community enjoyed by all. Whether providing clean safe drinking water, wastewater collection and treatment, or public works infrastructure, my focus is serving others with what they need to take care of their customers and communities. I enjoy working with clients to develop solutions that meet their needs during the planning, design, construction and operations of their facilities, and with the agencies that are responsible for the review, approval and funding of these projects. It is so gratifying to see the lives of an individual, a neighborhood, a community benefit from effective collaboration and problem solving.I believe that engineering can be the catalyst for improving people’s lives while enhancing their environments. Mentoring and providing guidance and insight to those I work with and who I serve are very gratifying components of my work.
