By way of introduction, I’m Murray, a commercially focused industry professional with over 20 years experience in the interactive digital & entertainment business with stints at Virgin, EA, Xbox, Ubisoft, Sony PlayStation, 2K Games, Build A Rocket Boy and most recently PlayFusion.My early career in advertising provided me with a client-service mentality, an understanding of the need for strong business partnerships and a belief in the value of brand building.And whilst I’ve had plenty of experience in brand and consumer marketing, I have more recently been drawn to the challenge of aligning a company’s marketing organisation with the broader business functions in order to best deliver on an organisation’s strategic, commercial and financial growth objectives.In my leadership roles, I have successfully built strong marketing teams across multiple territories and departments, uniting them to deliver on the company’s growth ambitions.My instinct is to partner quickly & build strong networks by collaborating closely with colleagues and business partners at whatever level they may be.
