This evolution allowed me to add additional marketing disciplines such as festivals, events, and brand experiences. I created the Teneriffe Festival with over 30,000 patrons and produced Valley Fiesta for 3 years with 80,000 plus patrons each year. Producing these large scale events enabled me to build strong business connections though local communities as well as larger corporateorganisations primarily due to the sponsorship procurement process. During this time, I worked with some of the biggest publicly listed and private companies including LendLease, JBS Australia, Stanbroke Beef, Brisbane Racing Club, PEET Ltd, Teneriffe Festival, Brisbane City Council, PA Research Foundation, Valley Fiesta, YMCA, APA Group, Fone Zone, Audi Australia, Dreamworld, Jack Daniels, Gem Life, YMCA, Poolwerx, and Price Waterhouse Coopers (pWC). My primary focus within the agency was to head up new business development which required extensive research, the ability to track down key business decision makers as well as producing the full pitch presentation to present to win the business. I also managed agency staff employment, implementing retention strategies and performance assessments. I have a very strong understanding of the end-to-end business development process including developing and managing budgets, strategies, implementation, working with creatives, media, and public relation agencies to co-ordinate successful outcomes. During my career I have worked with CRM systems such as Workflow Max and Scoro which controlled all client details, quotes, time and task management and invoicing. Show less
