This position involves planning, coordinating, and implementing various programs and initiatives to support faculty members in their professional growth and instructional excellence. Key Responsibilities include:-- Design and execute professional development events.-- Act as a "champion" for teaching and learning.-- Plan and host the annual Great Teachers Seminar (GTS).-- Train and mentor GTS Facilitators to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery.-- Facilitate GRCC's new faculty onboarding program: New Faculty Institute (NFI).-- Coordinate with Associate Deans and Human Resources to support new faculty onboarding.-- Provide support for NFI participants through one-on-one consultations throughout the academic year.-- Provide advisory input to the Executive Director regarding TLDE programming.-- Represent TLDE as needed in departments and teams.-- Identify and support the implementation of faculty recognition efforts.-- Provide end-of-semester reports and an end-of-the-term report to the Associate Provost of Instructional Support & Institutional Planning.-- Provide periodic updates to your Dean, Associate Dean, Associate Provost, and/or Executive Director of Teaching, Learning, and Distance Education as requested.
