To design, implement, monitor, and evaluate reforms and outcomes of programs and projects related to Education, Climate Change, SDGs, Governance, and Sustainable Development, I collaborated extensively with Ministers, Governors, Chiefs of Staff, Secretaries of State Governments, and Honorable Commissioners.During my tenure working with international development partners from FCDO/DFID to UNICEF, I engaged closely with 22 governors and numerous senior government officials across 17 Nigerian states, providing expert support to achieve measurable results. In December 2022, after nearly 20 years of distinguished service with international development partners, I resigned from UNICEF and founded the private policy think-tank, System Strategy and Policy Lab (SSPL). This firm provides services in policy design, implementation support, third-party monitoring, capacity building, and project execution to both governmental and non-governmental entities. As a former Education Specialist at the UNICEF Nigeria Country Office, I technically supported the Federal Ministry of Education, Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), and states in UNICEF's 9 field offices. My work focused on generating data and evidence for sector planning; designing and implementing policies; developing and reviewing education sector plans; aligning these plans with state education budgets for results-driven activities, and conducting education budget analyses to shape future strategies.I am skilled in facilitating policy dialogues with development partners and senior government officials in both Northern and Southern Nigeria and have a strong network in 17 of Nigeria’s 36 states. I am proficient in converting analytical work into policy advice, briefs, and actionable recommendations.I possess the necessary skills, experience, and knowledge to develop results-delivery dashboards, initiate periodic policy reviews in consultation with relevant Ministries, agencies, and parastatals, and provide advice on the effectiveness and efficacy of policies.I have a deep understanding of the sub-Saharan African education system, climate change, SDGs, Youth Skills and Development through Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), & Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT). Recently I have consulted for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the United Nations, GPE/World Bank, and DFID/FCDO. I hold certifications from the Nigerian Center for Management Development and have been recognized as a Goalkeeper of the Sustainable Development Goals by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
