Muru Nagaraju is an educator at heart and has worked with the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore for 20 years. His experience in MOE included some years in headquarters, developing teachers using professional development tools, such as Learning Circles. He has represented MOE internationally, presenting Learning Circles to the Hong Kong Education Bureau. He also headed teams that visited schools overseas, in countries such as Indonesia. As the Head of Department, he led the school staff and students in pupil management matters, coordinated and conducted several Strategic Planning sessions and played a crucial role in setting priorities, strengthening operations, ensuring staff and other stakeholders were working toward common goals and adjusting the organisation's direction in response to a changing environment. As part of Performance Management, he mentored, coached and evaluated staff to secure high quality professional work. He was conferred the National Day Commendation Medal in 2014, for distinguishing himself through commendable performance and conduct, as well as for significant efficiency, competence and devotion to his duty.Muru is a passionate facilitator and corporate trainer whose key competencies lie in the areas of Management and Leadership Training, Interpersonal Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Personal Effectiveness and Team Building. In Jan 2022, he was offered to be a fully committed consultant/trainer, working exclusively for Capelle Consulting Pte Ltd, due to good performance and high-scoring evaluations. He has conducted workshops for NUHS C-Suites (CE Group) and have facilitated Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) workshops such as Skillsfuture for the Digital Workplace modules, Team Excellence, Critical Thinking, Hybrid Team Collaboration and Culture & Values training programmes. He has worked with clients such as SIA, SCOOT, SATS, CAG, Civil Service College, NUHS, NTU, DBS, UOB and SGInnovate, garnering positive feedback for these sessions.He is also a certified John C. Maxwell coach, trainer and speaker. He has presented at international conferences, such as WISE@Paris and at organisations, such as UNESCO. He is able to connect with people and put them at ease, while pushing them to reflect deeply to make empowering decisions.
