Our Founder .Murude Katipoglu graduated from Kingston University with a BA Hons in Interior Design and later spent 7 years working for reputable design studios on high-profile hospitality and residential projects in London before setting up Murudé, formerly Design Stories, in 2017.Growing up in Cyprus ⁠— surrounded by its raw beauty, nature and diverse history ⁠— influenced her as a designer and sparked her love for natural materials and textures, as well as antiques and handmade furniture.Murude is a central figure for client relationships and personally leads all design projects. Getting to know the clients, and understanding their needs while creating spaces that evoke emotions and connection is at the heart of everything she does..
