I'm an aspiring artist from Ypsilanti, Michigan. I have an extremely unique style, what I call soulful art, because I started creating from my heart from the very beginning. I never worried about making my stuff look like anything else. After a couple years I am starting to look for things to incorporate into my style. I plan to audit some classes at Eastern Michigan University in the Spring 2016 semester to develop as an artist and to make connections.My current plan to make money from my art is to print these designs onto hats and sell them at music festivals. Hats are cheap to print and there's no need to worry about bringing different sizes. This allows me to print more items with different designs at a much cheaper price than t-shirts would cost.What I consider a lofty goal, akin to getting my band off the ground, is to break into the fine art world. All I want to do is to be able to fully support myself by selling my original pieces. As much as I love cooking, I'd rather be drawing.
