I have over 25 years of experience in the resources sector, my experience spans detailed design, project management, executive technical management, and divisional management of multidiscipline engineering. I have authored numerous publications pertaining to the subject of structural engineering and asset integrity. I have presented papers at various conferences and have been featured in numerous publications, from Engineering News to Business Day on my visionary outlook to integrated design solutions and the digital journey of executing projects. I have headed up the engineering delivery at an executive level, divisional level, and project level and led teams at a global strategic level. My experience spans from working at Anglo American to the Global Engineering company WorleyParsons as Executive Head of Engineering.My passion for innovation coupled with my ability to deliver projects provides a unique ability to transform innovative, abstract thinking into reality, which forms the backbone of Optimult, the company I founded. I bring my global project execution and technical experience in mining to the working group for the ISO standards for mining structures, of which I am part of the working group for the National Standards on Mining Structures.
