Principal : Leighton Contracting Qatar WLL Al Jaber Engineering LLC Joint Venture/ ASHGHALProject : New Orbital Highway & Truck Route (P023) Contract 3- Utilities PackageScope: To facilitate the safe construction works of approx. 5.4km of Trench excavation of Utilities line including storm water drainage system, foul sewerage network, treated sewage effluent network, and water supply network by implementing a proper dewatering method. Methods of dewatering used:1. Single Stage Well Point system to be installed on one side, parallel to the perimeter of open trench excavation.2. Wherever ground conditions are not favorable to the well point system an alternative trenching and sump pumping system to be installed. Main Responsibilities: 1. Progress monitoring and tackling the expected/unexpected challenges to avoid schedule conflicts.2. Evaluating the appropriate dewatering method based on the soil permeability, water ingress, expected final excavation level. 3. Delegating the tasks appropriately by utilizing the unique ability and outsourcing whenever required.4. Making sure that everything under us and client’s responsibility is in place and raising delay notice, prompt notification in case of any breaches. Recording the evidence for substantiation purpose. 5. Promptly notifying the client in case if any slurry/muddy water is pumped from the trenches during the excavation or aggregate filling (Filtration) process, to prevent contaminated/silt mixed water being pumped into the Lagoons. 6. Liaising with client to ensure that our program maps their program.7. Maintaining a very healthy QHSE level throughout the project. 8. Ensuring that proper communication lines are in place and work force are aware of their responsibilities and reporting lines.9. Monitoring and measuring the performance of employees in a weekly basis to track where we are heading and what changes to be made to catch up/ drag the team back on track.

Scope of dewatering at New Doha Port is to facilitate the safe construction of the Trench excavation of Foul Water and Storm Water pipe line, Fresh Water Pump Stations, Portable Water Pump Stations, Sea Water Pump Stations, Buildings & Man Holes. Main Responsibilities: 1. Planning and scheduling the day to day activity. 2. Progress monitoring of specific projects on a regular basis. Anticipate and resolve any problems,bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts. Monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.3. Estimation of required pumps, discharge hoses, other accessories based on client’s requirement and approved drawings. 4. Ensuring that the pumps, materials delivered on site are in an acceptable standard both operation & safety wise.5. Managing total of 18 work force including Foreman, Electrician, Pump Operators and so on.6. Delegating the tasks appropriately by utilizing the unique ability and outsourcing whenever required.7. Setting work themes for each day of the activity as to ensure quality service is rendered to the client.8. Maintaining a prompt response system in emergency situations like breakdowns, overflows, soil/water contamination, etc.9. Making sure that everything under our and client’s responsibility is in place and raising delay notice, prompt notification in case of breach from client’s side. 10. Methods of dewatering used:1. Single Stage Well Point system installed on three sides, around the perimeter of excavation (10m X 10m X 5m). Discharge network is empowered with an appropriate booster (Non-prime) diesel pump and water discharged to a lagoon. Main Responsibilities: 1. Progress monitoring and tackling the expected/unexpected challenges to avoid schedule conflicts. 2. Delegating the tasks appropriately by utilizing the unique ability and outsourcing whenever required.3. Making sure that everything under us and client’s responsibility is in place and raising delay notice, prompt notification in case of any breaches. Recording the evidence for substantiation purpose. 4. Promptly notifying the client in case if any slurry/muddy water is pumped from the trenches during the excavation or aggregate filling (Filtration) process, to prevent contaminated/silt mixed water being pumped into the Lagoons. 5. Worked as a Project Operations Engineer in Qatar Integrated Railway Project - Red Line South (QIRP -RLS), State of Qatar (Doha Metro) from April 2014 - September 2015. Main Responsibilities : 1. Planning and scheduling project by developing project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera P6 software.2. Identifying the project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets to determine the staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project through the project measurement system.3.
