I spent two years at JIS, Brunei. I was originally recruited as a 'Graduate Teaching Assistant' and was promoted after one year, with the creation of the Music Technology (A-Level) Teacher position. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I used my time at JIS to completely reconfigure the large recording studio, which now features three 'live rooms'.

Teaching Resident positions at Bryanston have three strands; Academic, Pastoral and Extra-Curricular. My Academic responsibilities included delivering topics from the GCSE Music course, teaching the Trumpet and running the 'Jazz Combo'. My Pastoral responsibilities included being a member of the Dorset House team, and entailed keeping sixty male teenagers.

Master'S Degree, Education

MSc Education completed as a taught course, part-time. Elective units in International Education, Technology for Learning and Education.

Bmus (Hons), Jazz/Jazz Studies
