Presently involved in various activities, generally in the domain of semiconductor physics. Few of them are as follows:1) Ion beam analysis of semiconducting materials.2) Ion irradiation studies of materials.3) TCAD simulations of SiC-based devices.4) XPS studies of dielectric/semiconductor interfaces.5) Supervision of MS, M.Phil and PhD students' projects.Other than research, I am also involved in designing various scientific proposal intended for research grants and development of ion beam accelerator installed at NCP. Moreover, administrative duties and management is also part of the job.

The project "Developing strategies for scientific excellence through Pak-Swed cooperation" is financed by Swedish Research Council (VR) aiming at capacity building and networking. The project is a collaboration between KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and National Centre for Physics, mainly focusing on capacity building of Pakistan students in the area of photovoltaic devices and to improve their efficiencies using modified capping layers.
