I've always been a story teller with a passion for social & cultural impact. I studied film & mass communication, and was first introduced to urban farming as a producer through my production company “Analog Productions” I started growing my own food and became more interested in urban farming practices along the way. I joined one of Egypt’s first commercial hydroponic farms as a Commercial Manager in 2016 That same year I founded “Ne3raf”, an educational content creation company with a goal to make essential life skills & DIY learning accessible to Arabic speakers In 2018, I co-created and was appointed COO of a B2B agricultural supplies company, during my time there, we imported innovative agriculture products and introduced new ones to the market. From experience as a user and in the industry, I recognized a gap in the market, where agricultural solutions and supplies weren’t accessible to urban residents and home growers. In 2020, I founded “GrowPro”, an E - commerce website for urban gardening solutions including home systems, organic edible seedlings and gardening supplies. In 2021 I became a certified “Square Foot Gardening” instructor to enable people to grow their own food in urban settings
