• Co-created and implemented a strategic marketing and communication critical path for the Arts and Culture District that involved creation as well as implementation of a large-scale promotion campaign. • Increased overall student engagement by creating student-targeted programming, such as Arts & Culture Night (300 guests).• In partnership with Public Affairs, liaised with news media on- and off-campus to help circulate stories about the Arts & Culture District. • Grew the audience engaged on social media channels by over 400% including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, by collaborating with on and off campus media partners. • Built a positive online user experience by updating the Arts & Culture District website timely and efficiently.

• Developed a new marketing plan for Bike to Work Week 2015, which included recruiting and stewarding Bike to Work Week champions and helping them tell their personal stories on social media and our blog.• Supported the successful event planning and execution of the highly popular Chef Challenge, which was attended by 200 people. • Supported the ideation, planning, logistics and promotion for Centennial Harvest Feast, an outdoor 1000-person dinner for UBC faculty, staff, students, alumni and members of community. • Led the volunteer recruitment, training and coordination (including on-site) of over 30 volunteers for Centennial Harvest Feast.

• Managed large-scale events for 1500 diverse Jump Start students and coordinated all community building initiatives in residences and classrooms. • Planned programming and animation activities (such as an interactive “Before I graduate” chalkboard) to give students the opportunity to reflect on their orientation experience. • Delivered exemplary project planning, monitoring, communication and evaluation for large-scale events such as the annual pep rally for 8000 new UBC students.

• Planned, organized and executed both interactive, and learning-focused events tailored specifically to 50 residents from diverse backgrounds.• Empowered residents to get involved in leadership opportunities by creating and chairing a resident committee and organizing a monthly coffee house series.• While working under minimum supervision, initiated and successfully implemented multiple community building projects.

Initiated and directed a weekly by-donation lunch at a student run food coop, Sprouts, at UBC. Furthered the concepts of sustainability, healthy, local eating and food security. Oversaw 50 volunteers every week and contributed to their personal development. Planned the weekly menu to provide an overall nutritional lunch.
