• Research and Analytical Section.KCIU is a religious based Organization in Kenya that was `founded by Islamic scholars. Which later on started receiving funds from NGO’s which were dedicated to helping the less fortunate in the society.As a researcher and analyst, my responsibilities were; Data analysis and editing. Overlooking quality of the data received and entered from the fields.

• Information Technology and Networks Department (Bussiness application section)Telkom Kenya is a Telecommunication Company that provides both Wireless and Fixed data and voice services.My responsibilities were; Attending to users and client issues with regards to Customer Resource Manager support services. End user support in liaison with IT help desk in regards to system issues and assisting in providing solutions where necessary. Analyzing operational requirements and developing systems and processes for business application. Performing Business Applications Daily health checks and KPI's and Reporting. Calculate Business applications weekly average statistics. Installation, maintenance and monitoring of softwares and applications Communication of updating sales teams on various new schemes & product launches. Generating queries for all the reports using SQL, MS Access and MS-Excel.

• Attachment at the Actuarial and Insurance section.NHIF is a state parastatal that receives contributions from its members and provides medical insurance cover to all its members and their declared dependants (Spouses and Children).As an Intern, my responsibilities were:- Data Analysis and editing mostly in Microsoft Excel and SPSS. Insurance tender evaluation (Technical and Financial Evaluation). Report writing and presentation in PowerPoint format.This responsibility gave me more understanding in the Actuarial sector and more insight on Tender application.
