I have a passion for solving problems and writing code, and if I can do both then I'd be in the best environment for me! I am a very persistent learner, and committed to a life style of learning. I first took an interest in programming after I participated in a robotics competition during my senior year of high school. Our team ended up winning the local competition and were invited to the global one! Sadly, I couldn’t make it because, well, I was a senior 😊. With that said, participating in that competition certainly opened my mind to the wonderful world of solving problems through a computer, and I started out making my own projects at home!I first started making my own video games as a side project whenever I had the time. The games I made were never big and never more than a single level, and that’s because I wanted to learn the ideas and the process and didn’t want to only follow a tutorial to make a perfect game, but not understand anything. Because of that choice, I often dabbled into modeling, texturing, animating, and even spent some time learning about motion capture. That, of course, is aside from all the coding experience I've gained through coding these games! Although I mainly code for now, I certainly opened my mind to the possibilities these genre give! Currently, I am working on a solo game project, where I am trying to bring together what I have learned into one, full game with multiple levels, and a boss fight. Outside of programming, I really enjoy reading. I really like all types of books, from autobiographies to fiction to mythologies to manga! I also like running, and ran several half marathons! I also like the piano, and even thought my experience level with that is very limited, I still like to play whenever I get the chance!
