My Duties include; Performing month-end account closing activities and reconciliations. Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances. Generate and distribute account management reports on monthly basis. Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange. Provide appropriate accounting information to customers when needed. Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries. Analyze and perform foreign currency exchanges. Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits. Assist in tax preparation and filing activities. Reconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accounts. Review financial reports to identify and explain variances. Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files. Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issues. Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures. Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes. All on NETSUITE ERP.

My role involves creating the best possible financial controls and structures to enable non-finance functions such as sales, marketing and circulation to streamline their expenditure and make well-informed business decisions. Working with commercial teams to understand customer profiles to make accurate decisions within the pricing proposal. Advising on financial controls and providing appropriate information and analysis to help colleagues make key decisions. Developing effective pricing strategies to support promotional activity and help develop optimum selling price. Supplier review with procurement teams and vendor management to identify saving opportunities. Collaboratively work with Sales & Marketing department in order to identify new business opportunities and to develop customer loyalty.Other responsibilities include tracking and analyzing sales performances against targets and highlighting any variances, forecasting future profits and developing new products and promotions. Participate in external projects as assigned, for example Factory Audit, Salary distribution etc. Identify process improvement opportunities and involve in developing/executing projects.

Working with the senior auditor to plan the audit. Talking to the client about what preparations they need to make, such as providing working space and access to documents. During the audit itself, I had to check expenditures, revenue and other financial records to ensure that all numbers are accurate, regulations are complied with, and all payments are accurately classified and recorded. I then help to prepare the discussion draft of the audit report. I would attend meetings with the client and senior auditor and complete the audit report.
