"We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."Master’s in Sustainability graduate with a strong passion for environmental policy and legislation, sustainable development, and renewable energy. I am eager to leverage my professional and academic experience in ESG/CSR reporting, GHG accounting, and life-cycle assessment to support organizational sustainability goals. I have had an unconventional career trajectory. I did my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering focusing on Renewable Energy but after graduation got offered an opportunity that intrigued my curiosity. A multi-faceted role at an Agri-Tech startup striving to build a sustainable fresh produce supply chain. I successfully led the planning and development of integrating individual links in the fresh produce supply chain connecting 30+ farms, distributors, and vendors across the country. I was exposed to the ideas of Environmental Stewardship, Fair trade practices, and development based on social responsibility. To explore and learn more, I decided to go back to school for a Master’s.I was affected by war and political unrest throughout my schooling life, losing not only learning opportunities but also friends. I am committed to contributing towards ensuring the safety of women and children devastated by conflict while creating equitable opportunities and access to education during such times. Improving access and reducing inequalities is a central theme of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Let’s build our shared future together!
