In my role, I focus on two primary objectives: enhancing SSB's participation in NATO armament activities and improving the efficiency and success of Turkish defense companies in NATO procurement processes.

As a senior member of the SSB's International Cooperation Department, I oversee relations with key West European nations and enhance Türkiye’s role in NATO armament initiatives. My expertise in international policy and defense cooperation guides our strategic participation in global defense discussions, fostering bilateral and multilateral partnerships.

I facilitated the Ministry's active engagement and contributions to global dialogues on critical issues such as industry 4.0, global value chains, climate change, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation through collaborative efforts on both bilateral and multilateral platforms such as the G20 and OECD. This involved representing the Ministry in science, industry, and technology-related international organizations such as the OECD, G-20, D-8, OIC, and ASEAN, and devising policies and strategies to enhance Turkey's involvement in these organizations. Moreover, I held the esteemed position of Vice-Chair of the Committee of Industry, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the OECD and acted as the Head of the National Delegation to the G20 Digital Economy Task Force. On the bilateral front, I spearheaded initiatives to foster industrial and scientific cooperation with allied and friendly nations, drafting and executing bilateral agreements in science, industry, and technology areas.

As a senior associate from 1994 to 2017, I held several key positions within the organization that allowed me to utilize my skills in program management, policy analysis, stakeholder management, performance management, and corporate meetings. My titles included Subject Matter Expert in International Relations, EU Coordinator (2004-2010), Multilateral Cooperation Manager (2006-2010), Regional Manager for the Americas (2010-2012), and Strategic Planning Manager (2012-2014). Throughout my career, I worked diligently to support the organization's goals and drive results, bringing my expertise and dedication to each role I held.

As a Strategic Planning Manager, I have applied my skills in program management, policy analysis, stakeholder management, performance management, and corporate meetings to support the creation and implementation of a strategic plan. I have been responsible for coordinating strategic management meetings at the executive level and ensuring they are productive and result-driven. In addition, I have played a key role in helping create the strategic plan and overseeing its implementation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that all programs and policies are aligned with the organization's overall goals.

During my time in this role, I played a key role in establishing and developing the Turkish defence industry, both domestically and internationally.I am proud to have contributed to establishment of the Turkish Defence Industry Exporters Association in 2011, which has played a crucial role in promoting the export of Turkish defence equipment. I also worked in establishment of the Defence Industry Cooperation Office in the USA in 2010, which has been instrumental in building strong relationships between the Turkish and American defence industries.In addition to these initiatives, I have also been actively involved in building relationships with NATO bodies such as NC3A, NAMSA, and CNAD, as well as engaging in defence industrial cooperation with the Americas, NATO, and Europe. I have extensive experience in developing market entry strategies, as well as maintaining strong relationships with both industry and government stakeholders.Throughout my career, I have been committed to promoting the Turkish defence industry and have demonstrated my ability to successfully conduct relations with a range of international organizations, including NGOs such as SASAD and ASD, as well as organizations such as OCCAR.

I coordinated my organization's participation in the Turkey-EU Accession Negotiations, representing it in crucial chapters such as Industry and Enterprise, Public Procurement, and European Security and Defense Policy. I also had the opportunity to make presentations at the EU headquarters in Brussels.

I served as a Project Officer from 2003 to 2006, participating as a National Focal Point for international defence programs such as the NATO Allied Ground Surveillance Program, as well as being involved in the A400M Transport Aircraft and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program.
