-Creates daily production schedules to prioritize work in the shop in accordance with customer and business guidelines.-Generates work orders to initiate and control the production of items within the facility.-Analyzes production specifications and plan capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.-Maintains the forecast as provided by Sales in the MRP system, analyses the output, and takes action to support the needs of our customers.-Develops and implements projects to optimize production planning and control utilizing MRP, LEAN, Kanban and other methodsor processes.-Establishes stocking and replenishment levels for manufactured inventory utilizing the LEAN/Kanban philosophy of inventory management.-Oversees all aspects of Shipping and Receiving and Material Handling. -Supervises hourly workforce tasked with final preparation and packaging of completed products.-Manage the cycle count process, analyze variances and update inventory as required to ensure accurate part count information in the ERP system.-Executes, maintains and continuously improves MRP system in support of company objectives.-Leads or participates in capital improvement projects handling, building, and production equipment.-Reports to management key measurements in regards to revenue, work order status, manufacturing floor utilization levels, and On-Time Delivery.

-Ability to capture and specify the design requirements. -Research concept ideas using mathematical modelling to work out whether new developments and innovations would work and be cost effective.-Analyze the Engineering and Project input in order to interrogate it, reach an agreement and integrate it formally in a Design solution.-Produce design ideas, based on research, into technical plans for prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software.-Analyze the design proposals and the technical information in order to identify the issues arising during product development, defining and implementing adequate solutions in order to reach a feasible proposal with a high formand aesthetic quality.-Attend design reviews to present design ideas and to discuss and critique alternative design solutions.-Cost proposals.-Carry out simulations of products for new and prototype projects using in-house software for the customer and provide support and feedback on design.-Analyze and manage multipledesign related issues to identify root cause.-Modify designs based on the analysis to re-test and analyse until design meets specification requirements.-Make design changes on existing products.-Track design changes.-Control of Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD Models and Engineering Drawings.-Keep up with current and developing engineering trends.-Undertake special projects as required.-Contribute to continuous improvement activities.-Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.-Support process improvement activities.-Support technical staff and/or junior engineers.-Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients.-Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.-Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.-Make presentations.
