JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -- Manage the project activities of NPD from enquiry stage to sample dispatch.- Prepare Tool design, Process design & feasibility report for new inquiry from customer.- Costing of products by analysing customer requirement.- Planning & scheduling of new development part.- Conduct APQP kick-off meeting with CFT to develop & maintain detail project plan.- Complete tooling design for special & standard fasteners on multi station Bolt former (6 Station), Nut former ( 6 station) & Part former (6 station) machines.- Advance tool design aim to optimum tool life & continuous improvement in tools setup.- Lead cold forging trials on shop floor at initial part development stage.

- Product responsibility from the first design phase till the end of production, - Self dependent design and development of special fasteners and Cold forging Dies and fixtures.- Design layout with respect to function, tolerance, and stability and material selection to fulfill the requirements of the customer product specification.- Study drawings & standards received from customer.- Team work with suppliers and inter departments for work preparation, quality & testing during the design phase as well as in production.- Prepare, update & maintain ECN document for product & process changes.- Lead forging trial at forging shop at initial part development stage.

- Plan and achieve daily production targets. - Ensuring that all the work is carried out on the shop floor as per standards. - Making control plan and maintain the record of rejections. - Implementation of 5S, Poke-yoke and Kaizen at various machines. - Line set up as per production plan. - Performing time study and process study for continuous improvement of production.
