I was affected the tasks of design and implementation of algorithms for spacial ressource allocation in order to maximize the total throughput of a downling MU-MIMO cellular system. These proposed low complexity linear precoder/decoder construction algorithms consider maximizing the number of served users and the number of affected streams either in function of some service QoS requirements considered as priorities or simply ensuring fairness. Contributions were made through Orange Labs and Eurecom to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and Beyond 3 G (B3G) at OrangeLabs as well as normalizations of the multiple antenna support for LTE.
