I was heading Validation, Integration and Commissioning Infrastructure for strategic projects delivered across JLR brand, I was managing a team of over 100 engineers, project managers and test leads whilst providing leadership in developing and improving a large test infrastructure. The scope of my team includes Infotainment Systems validation, System level automation, diagnostics and vehicle fleet management.I oversee day to day operations ensuring tight cost and risk control, maintaining Risk Log and Open Work Log, lead corrective actions and mitigation strategies. I supported regular Board level Business Case reviews to ensure benefit realisation. My vision was to establish: A resilient infrastructure that could cope with technology and capacity challenges for 5 years. Completeness & accuracy of Test artefacts by having 100% functionality coverage and over 90% Non-functional requirements coverage (Robustness, Performance, Error handling)Reduce Test Execution Cycle using Automation and development of 100 % automated Regression Test Suite

In my role as Quality engineering manager, I lead a team of experienced engineers and acted as a 'Quality Conscience' to the Electrical Electronic and Software Engineering Centre of Competence. I ensured that all decisions support improved customer satisfaction and reliability.

I worked across all departments to resolve issues and identify practical solutions with particular emphasis on effective working partnerships (Infotainment core team, Infotainment integration and test & automation team, Electrical systems engineering, New Model Programmes across all plants, Launch teams, current engineering teams, business planning and durability and reliability ).
