Involves oversight of contracted staff used to coordinate and execute moves of equipment, materials, labs and manage tenants that are leasing space within the SCRI portfolio and ensure their needs are being kept up with, alongside the coordination and management of new and existing operating agreement/leases. Developed new methods and toolsets to manage and track space used by SCRI labs used for reporting, forecasting, and planning.

• Laboratory of Randall T Moon PhD, Department of Pharmacology• Part of the design team responsible for the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine’s proposed site in South Lake Union, worked with Perkins Will to ensure laboratory floorplans were designed and built with research in mind, and designed the Aquatics facility accordingly. • Managed all supply pricing negotiations, stocking, and ordering. • BSL3 and Select Agent use authorization.• Managed all laboratory staff, and was responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and subsequent performance reviews.• Directed laboratory interests, pursuits, experimental design, and resource utilization. • Managed annual budgets of over 1.5M and tracked all laboratory spending for annual review by HHMI.

Position with the Environmental Health & Safety Institutional Biosafety Committee reviewing and evaluating new and amended biosafety protocols with the Biosafety Officer assigned to the protocol to ensure NIH compliance, personnel & animal safeties were in place, and that the proposed work has merit.

Worked for the Laboratories of Randall T Moon & David Kimelman to care for and maintain their zebrafish (danio rerio) and xenopus (xenopus laevis) colonies. Developed new standards of care to better care for the animals, introduced enrichment, and better maintain water quality standards that in the end 1) provided robust scientific data due to very healthy animals and no external confounding factors, and 2) vastly improved the life of the animals used in this research program.
