I am also an Audit Committee member of Kwabre East Municipal Health Directorate. We have Three Institutions and three CHPS compounds under our supervision. These institutions are Manpongteng Hospital, Asonamanso Hospital, Kwabre East District Ghana Health Service directorate, Antoa CHPS compound, Agona CHIPS compound and aberem CHIPS compound. The Audit Committee assist the institutions implement audit report recommendations, advices and recommends best internal audit procedures practices to the internal auditors of the institutions to effectively conduct audit review of their institutions. Our Audit Committee meets every quarter to consider the audit issues and recommendations of the institutions. The Audit Committee is the Governing body of the above covered entities.In fact, the experience I acquired at Egala & Associates, when we audited public sector entities such as ECG, GNPC, Audit Service, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, Tema Shipyard, GSOP etc. has helped me offer invaluable contributions on internal control systems to the above institutions.

At Bean Counters, we do management consultancy for small to medium businesses. We offer monthly accountancy, bookkeeping to small enterprises. For the pass 4 or so years, we have assisted sole proprietors and individuals prepare their accounts and annual tax returns. We have also undertaken Forensic accounting in order to assist the client quantified losses from fraud by their employees. We have also undertaken consultancy on reorganization and turnaround strategy for some clients. Additionally, we undertook a mojor stock count and valuation work of a client involved in Wholesale business.

External audits and other Assurance work. I represent IJK Associates in Kumasi and we have about 15 to 20 audit clients. I am responsible for client acquisition, management, fee negotiations engagement management. I have 2 trainees that train, who help me effectively deliver audit reports to the engagement partner for review and finalisation.

I handled HUDAI (Islamic NGO that built that Built the National Mosque at Kanda), I am proud to have led the audit of HUDAI for two years. I was happy to have prepared the management letters that led to effectiveness of the internal control system of HUDAI and by extension Ghana National Mosque.Another AuditI enjoyed was leading the Ghana School Feeding Programme Forensic Audit whenthe Nana Addo Took power... it was interesting. What made it interesting?... answer: the audit issues( management letter issues) I discussed with the then Head of Finance, Mr. Akwasi Afirifa Mensah, now Hon. Akwasi Afirifa Mensah. I use to call him Head of State and he also used to call me Nigerian President...those days hun...hmmm
