• Responsible for a fleet of 24 MW Asset Management in Tamil Nadu & Technical support for all sites of southern states including Operation & Maintenance. • Ensure the Machine and Grid availability is above 98% across all wind farms, & ensuring that the Resource availability is 96%• Ensure that the generation target achieved for a given operational year as per the energy estimates done by wind resource consultant.• Monitor the repeated faults occurring in the turbine & provide a technical solution for preventing them from recurring.• Perform an analysis of the faults that have occurred in the turbines, make sure that the MTBF is as high as possible.• Carry out a Macro analysis on the performance of the operating wind farms by comparing the Estimated vs actual generation for the current month/year & comparing with last year.• Analyze the technical problems for the shortfall in Machine and Grid availability when compared with the targets.• Verify the records for preventive Maintenance against the schedule and make sure that the deviation is within the agreed limits.• Plan the maintenance in such a way that the turbines are not stopped during the high wind season and the downtime due to maintenance during that period is less.• Conduct a regular manpower and Material audit at the sites to enable and ensure smooth operations at the site.• Microanalysis on the performance of the turbine by checking the power curve and Windrose of the turbines and cross-checking it with the Standard Power curve and the site-specific Wind rose respectively.• Calculate the impact on Machine and grid availability due to various reasons like the Material/spare shortage, Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance, external reasons like High wind, bad weather, the local dispute arising at the sites etc.• All types of Liaisoning with STUs/SEBs & CEIG, Name Transfer or Change, Addition / Alteration, Billing etc carried in State Discom. Mutation entries in the Revenue Department

• Conducting the internal meeting and review the activities and goals, guiding the employees to adhere to safe working environment & regulatory policies, procedures and guidelines• Monitoring the performance of team members educate and training them to ensure efficiency.• Streamlining efforts for achievement of short and long term goals of the company taking into care the mission and vision.• Electricity Invoice & Payment follow up for WTGs.• Power Purchase Agreement execution & follow-ups.• Village Panchayaths & Revenue administration approvals & official followups • Managing overall operations for executing projects within cost & time frame works.• Conducting & participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking. • Preparing project schedules and monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs and Quality Compliance to ensure timely execution of projects• Implementing control of work procedures such as job safety analysis, risk assessments, permit to work system, safety induction and ensuring zero accident, etc• Ensuring the quality oriented process monitoring and inspection of civil foundation.• Planning the time frame work execution of WTG erection.• Ensuring the quality oriented inspection of contractors work like Electrical installation, HT poles, HT yard and feeder installation.• Planning and initiating the WTGs Pre-commissioning and commissioning.• Ensuring the post commissioning to initiating the condition monitoring. • Well Knowledge in Material Management

• Planning and executing to improve the WTG performance like Projects, Machine availability, Grid availability, Import KVARH, MTTR, MTBF. • Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various WTGs like 350KW, 600KW, 1.25 MW & 1.5MW and instruments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.• Increasing the Generation of WTG with help of analysing the WTGs power curve, LTT, WTGs event log file & Low generation analysis and Line loss analysis. • Whenever WTG breakdown time providing technical ideas, support and material arrangement to Reducing downtime of WTG and improving the MTTR & MTBF.• Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools; including failure analysis, repeated errors, root cause analysis.• Technologically upgrading of the obsolete WTGs.• Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/measures and modifications to achieve the substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.• Software updating the WTG controllers.• Troubleshooting or Problem-solving exercise undertaken: Study of gearbox failures in Windmills and implementation of various steps for life extension.• Well experience in Fibre optical communications and Radio Modem communications, • Operation and Maintenance works Intercampus networking (Splicing, Configuration, Installation )• Good Experience in Park Masters, Ring Managers, Converters (RS 232, RS 485, RJ 45/Optical) IP allocation, Dotcom Servers, Park Software’s (Java Based), Modules and Serial Communication.
