VMware Specialist

•Technical Systems Infrastructure Specialist with extensive in windows server , Azure, VMware HCI and Nutanix and day to day operations monitoring the multiple platforms and networks. •Responsible for providing IT remote infrastructure support 24/7 modle to one of the Largest American manufacturing company & it's operations center in North America, Europe and Asia Pasific.•Responsible for managing and maintaining windows servers,Azure,Nutanix and VMware HCI infrastructure.

Responsibilities:VMware:• Ensure prompt handling of any hardware issue and related changes.• Installing and configuring Esx Servers• Installing, configuring and managing virtual Infrastructure and vCenter.• Creating and managing resource pools and adding VM’s to resource pools.• Managing vm’s using vcenter app as well as web.• Security hardening and monitoring VM’s and ESX servers(cpu, memory, disk and network utilizations)• Creating and managing vmware cluster. Enabling HA and DRS features in a cluster.• Configuration of virtual switches (standard and distributed) and network connections.• P2V and V2V conversions using VMware converter.• Performing Snapshot, cloning, cold migration and hot migrations• Moving VM’s to one LUN to another LUN using storage vMotion.• Creating batch scripts, PowerShell scripts for automation, WINDOWS• Installing, Configuring and administering Group policies in Windows 2003, 2008R2, 2012 Server.• Installing Active directory /DNS in windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 server.• Manage Active directory site and services.• Create and manage trust using AD Domain and trust.• Domain Email Management• Installation and Configuration of Network printer.• In domain levels:o Monitoring and Managing of Active Directory services, Replication. o Active Directory Users and Groups management. o Monitoring of DNS Records and DHCP server.o User rights and permission, disabling and enabling accounts, file and folder permissions and configuring security templates as per needo Creating standard Backup policies and taking back-up of the servers. Restoring the data as per the customer request o Preparing monthly work status report and updating technology specific documents for Servers. o Creation of user home directories and migration of user data from various servers and domains.
