Responsibilities at M/s Jindal Steel & Power Limited• Hub & spoke operations, Rake placement, document arrangements & Stock yard operation.• 10,000MT monthly Steel Cargo discharge & storage at Railway siding and dispatch to customers & stock yard.• Cargo discharge quality survey & tallying. • MIS and profitability analysis, Stock analysis.• Stock yard storage planning as per Customer / Product/ Size/ Grade wise• System process of accounting (GRN), Order creation, delivery order and invoicing.• Monthly inventory taking & reconciliation of total stock.• Transportation arrangements for hub & spoke and stock yard. • Decisions on extending credit facility to the customers• Dispatch plan arrangements for stock yard and Hub & spoke.• Profitability & Cost reduction and Cost Control.• Safety Meeting, Environment development, FIFO, 5S. Responsibilities at M/s Essar logistics Limited• Port operation, handling equipment control and Handling agent & surveyor team control.• Vessel/ Barge berth arrangements, customs clearance and documents preparation.• Steel cargo discharge from vessel, intercarting to warehouse & storage arrangements • MIS, stock audit, reconciliation, insurance claim on damaged cargo, sales return accounting.• Vessel & Rake loading plan, warehouse dispatch plan and storage plan based on priority cargo.• Co-ordinations to Handling agent, transporters, Sales & Marketing and customers for smooth operations.• Inbound & Outbound logistics operation at service Centre.

Responsibilities at M/s Essar Steel India Limited • Inventory Management & control and Packaging of HR/CR/GAL coils, plates & sheets at manufacturing plant.• Finished goods & Raw materials location updating on every day/shift basis• Weekly inventory taking approx. 1.5 lacs steel various products and reconciliation.• Co-ordination with production & planning team for supplying RM & Logistics for Dispatch and Intercarting to yards/Ports from plant. • Packaging norms confirmation & quality inspections and FG confirmation for dispatch/intercarting.
