Initially was heading the planning dept. Issue of Line wise monthly production & dispatch plan. Week wise scheduling Mill I & II, CR Slitter, SPM Slitter, CGL & CCL. Minimum for 7 days day wise production programme for all the lines and container requirement plan. Scrutinies of Order Acceptance released by Marketing for manufacture & supply material with the current plant capacity. Verifying the LC terms & conditions with respect to the contract executed.Monthly review of production planned & actual and dispatch plan Vs achieved. Reporting to the top management regarding the reasons for shortfall and the improvement strategy.Was transferred to Project Purchase since June 2004. Looking after Indigenous & Import of project items for CGL, CCL, CRM & ARP. Handling of EPCG scheme purchase of capital items. Sourcing of vendors.Project planning and procurement of material / equipment as per the plan to meet the target. Budgeting and Cash flow chart preparation.

Joined as Asst. Mgr (Purchase). Was looking after project purchase of CRM. Procurement of both imported & indigenous spares.Transferred to PPIC (Production planning & Inventory Control) in June 1996. Was heading the CRM section. Preparation of TDC (Technical Delivery condition) for all the CRFH & GP material. Co-ordination with marketing in releasing Order Acceptance & getting LC opened as per TDC.Releasing of monthly production plan for Pickling, Rolling & Galvanizing. Week wise dispatch plan for CFRH & GP products. Issue of daily production programme for the lines.Was an internal auditor for ISO 9002 & DCI (Document Control In charge) for CRM section.PP, MM, FM & SD modules of SAP R-3 system is implemented successfully. Most of the programmes are released through system.Analysis of aging of both WIP & finish goods and the corrective / salvaging actions, planning & implementation.

Was In charge of material management department, comprising purchase, sub contract, stores & dispatch. Was in charge of Excise documentation.Development of split mandrel instead of single, by which the raw material required, is reduced to 75% and cost reduced to 85%.

Was looking after purchase of castings, & capital goods items, release of transportation & service contracts.

Was looking after purchase of ferrous and non-ferrous materials and electrical items. Raw materials for the foundry.

Was in charge of sub contracting section, dealing in machining, forging & plating.
