I led the development team responsible for building strategic eCommerce & Payments platform processing $3B revenue annually. My responsibilities include building and integrating eCommerce experiences for Turbo Tax & QuickBooks product lines, building revenue growth capabilities, building and rolling out payment capabilities across the globe.Led the migration of on-premise to public cloud (AWS) initiative for all the 100+ revenue systems in the group. Managed a globally distributed scrum team of 25+ engineers including SRE’s and DBA to support revenue platforms 24x7. Managed the database support for revenue systems, managed vendors and partners, led various database initiatives like security patching, restacking automation, migration to RDS, Oracle upgrade, and the strategic hiring of an in-house DBA team for the org.

Led development of marketing platform for all our Intuit's front door marketing pages across a digital marketing ecosystem. Revamped the tech stack to support the expanding digital marketing and commerce initiatives. Drove design and implementation of a new Node.js stack (and MVC framework) to power global and US Intuit marketing sites (quickbooks.intuit.com, payroll.intuit.com, payments.intuit.com, and www.intuit.com etc.) Migrated the US and Global marketing sites to the new platform successfully from RoR based older tech stack. led personalization, Performance and Search Engine Optimization initiatives.Led the development of an e-commerce engine in close partnership with product teams and vendors. Built platform features including pricing, order management, voucher, accounts and other core ecommerce features.Designed and architected multi region active-active setup in AWS cloud and achieved high scalability, five 9’s availability, resiliency and, fault tolerance. Led performance testing, analysis, and optimization efforts for applications, application servers, databases, operating systems and Java virtual machines, resulting in significant performance improvements. Led the TOS (Technical Operations Scrum) for the group, AWS cost optimization, tech hygiene, security, and compliance mandates, performance and other metrics for the group.

Help platform that provides KB articles, agent tools and digital media content for Yahoo! Media properties that scale more than 10M requests per day. Designed Yahoo!’ global media portals that support more than 25 countries and different languages. Created Content management system and components like Flickr, Yahoo answers and yahoo ads.
