Mutima Imani's Major Accomplishments• Designed and led the first enterprise-wide leadership development program, Leading McKesson in the Critical Years This program was a part of a global growth and re-engineering strategy for McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical distribution and consumer healthcare conglomerate. Sponsors were McKesson’s Chief Operations Officer, key executives, 150 senior management and officer-level coaches, and faculty from 32 operating businesses. This three-year development series surpassed all business process improvement goals, organizational learning objectives, leadership succession strategies, and voice-of-the-customer feedback.• Designed and led the first Community Healing retreat with both Latin-American and African-American women in Richmond, California Funded by the City of Richmond Human Rights/Human Relations Commission, Black Women Organized For Political Action, The Latina Center, Black Alliance For Just Immigration, and the Neighborhood House North Richmond. The program is called “Building Bridges”, Uniting Communities to heal racial wounds.• Designed and led Washington Elementary School’s Immediate Intervention for Under-Scoring Schools Program (IIUSP) The staff development training program included cultural diversity training for teachers and school staff. School test scores increase the first year above expectations, and the achievement gap between students closed. This effort was a school-wide program that included parenting and youth leadership development classes.• Designed and led Continuing Education for Public Officials (CEPO) trainings for the League of City Governments for more than 10 yearsThese week-long experiential training retreats take place twice a year and provide the training ground to learn leading edge, field-tested and proven business theories and practices, and a practical, hands-on workshop approach to testing new ones. Participants earn Continuing Educations Units.
