I have always felt that the primary purpose of each of our lives is to make fully manifest the potential that is inherent in every human being. I also believe that learning is the most effective mechanism for realizing that potential. However, access to quality education remains an unfilled promise for many students in the USA and around the world. My unrelenting passion is to work with others to fulfill our collective promise to all students so that each student can manifest the promise that lies within. That is how I have chosen to serve. Since creating Performance Fact, Inc. in 1997, I have facilitated and coached leaders and their teams at the State, district, and school levels, in more than 100 school systems across the USA and internationally.Our main areas of focus are equity-centered strategic planning; disciplined implementation; leadership for results; and building trust and authentic relationships. My team and I have collaborated with and learned from more than 100,000 educators across the world!Prior to creating Performance Fact, I worked for Eastman Kodak Company for 14 years as a research scientist and in several management positions at Kodak headquarters. Upon leaving Kodak, I served as the Chief Operating Officer of the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE), based in Washington, DC, from 1992-1995. I hold B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering.For me, the “why?” of it all remains unchanged: championing equitable learning systems that nurture every student into becoming an informed co-creator of a just and thriving global community.
