Provided technical support and worked as a research consultant for the Somalia Boundaries and Federalism Commission (BFC), Mercy Corps, Horn Center, KasmoDev, Talo initiative, Research Development Associate, NIS Foundation, and GIST. Worked for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) as Somalia country expert. Additionally as security advisor for the Zamzam (ZZF). Also worked in Ethiopia and Mozambique, as a research consultant for Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS).
