Oversee all aspects of finance, accounting & technology, reporting directly to the CEO/Co-Founder. Part of the 5-member leadership team that directs strategic initiatives across the Company's portfolio of locations, spanning throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.

• Create and develop all financial models pertaining to real estate, investor acquisitions, new business lines, financing structures, and revenue projections; including sole responsibility over the operating model.• Built out and trained the accounting and finance team, recruiting and hiring an accounting manager, senior accountant, and staff accountant. • Conducted all modeling and financial analyses necessary for $42mm Series-C equity financing with Certares. • Successfully led diligence, including all modeling, surrounding a $22.5mm Series-B equity financing with Starwood Capital and a $20mm debt raise with a family office.• Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with department leaders; including evaluation and approval of pipeline property pro-forma financial statements.• Track the Company’s strategic objectives; reviewing, analyzing, and presenting monthly financials to investors and board of directors.• Compile cross-departmental BOD meeting materials and serve as internal check for consistent Company messaging.

• Hired during seed-funding stage, becoming the 6th employee and first full-time finance hire, reporting to the Founder/CEO.• Manage accounting, finance, and tactical HR functions. • Converted Company from cash to accrual basis accounting and established all accounting & finance policies.• Worked directly with CEO to create the Company’s first annual budget following $15mm Series-A financing with L Catterton.• Built month-end close process, including creation of financial statements for presentation to investors.• Utilize Looker business intelligence software to create reports, obtain & evaluate, company data.• Effectively manage the Company’s year-end audit, including the first, following Series-A investment.

• Reviewed analyses conducted at the affiliate level for budget, actual, and forecasted financial scenarios.• Utilized advanced Excel functions to compile analyses conducted on consolidated basis and make determinations of business operations at the parent level.• Create various reporting packages to be presented to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis using an Oracle based accounting system to extract relevant financial information. • Coordinate with worldwide affiliates to obtain all information necessary for reporting deadlines.

• Performed procedures related to financial statement audits, acquisitions, and reviews across various industries, including: publicly traded, manufacturing, retail, software, media, and publishing.• Executed carve out for joint venture between two publicly traced manufacturing companies, performing: review, opening balance sheet, year-end, and PCAOB stub-period audit procedures.• Served as a financial advisory consultant for bankruptcy proceedings and forensic investigations.• Continuously utilize Excel for various testing and analysis purposes.
