My research focuses on how to build a happy, healthy, effective workforce able to proactively cope with change and adversity. I do research, training and coaching in the areas of work engagement, burnout, job crafting, mindfulness / ACT, adaptability, self-compassion and meaning-making at work. At UvA I teach courses on Work, Stress & Health and Interventions in Positive Occupational Health Psychology. I apply theory to practice via: job crafting training, mindfulness / ACT training & coaching, leadership development, organizational development, team coaching and leadership coaching.
