The end of 2016 represented a major shift in focus and intent with the completion of intensive engagements as a simultaneous Interim CEO for two separate large medical organizations. Prior to that Mark has consulted to virtually every surgical specialty and multiple other medical constituents such as surgery centers, hospital medical staffs, IPAs, and insurers.Of the many skills developed over the years, Mark has narrowed his bandwidth to a greater focus on business planning, physician recruitment and network development, business development, board chairmanships, and leadership development. in 2018 his son Shane Van Druff, MPH joined the firm and most of the medical group clients have transitioned over to him. Over the past three years Mark has been busy capitalizing and launching the business plan for the “Regenerative Network Medical Corp” as an Interim CEO, an organization composed of regional physicians, scientists, and medical practitioners working together cooperatively to usher experimental therapies into the orthodoxy of western medicine. Full funding for this large-scale project is expected in Q3 of 2023.The Network is a medical group modeling the nimbleness of private practitioners, but applying the same rigors employed by teaching universities like USC or UCI such as peer review, disciplinary committees, protocol development, scientific publications, and IRBs (independent review boards) to follow outcomes, share and analyze data, and refine protocols towards FDA submission and approval of emerging complementary and game-changing experimental therapies.
