I simplify complexity. For thousands of years, our societies have built up technical debt in process workflows, communication, politics, and bureaucracy. This debt, in conjunction with an ever-evolving technological landscape, leaves many problems ripe for better solutions. My passion is to apply new tech-driven solutions to old problems. To date, I have developed or contributed to over eighty different applications and libraries. I've built an EHR from scratch at Canvas Medical. I've analyzed alligator footage programmatically in the Neuroscience Department at the University of Maryland to understand auditory spatial perception. I've designed and prototyped a story-sharing platform at the US State Department to help them craft a shared narrative across over a hundred different programs. I maintain the leading python implementation of GraphQL, Graphene, an open-source library.
