• Responsibilities, a.o.:
• own the squad’s backlog and continuously update it with new requests (e.g. periodic and pre-approval validations, recommendation follow-up assessments, CAS and ECB findings, policy work etc.).
• prioritize the backlog by a.o. consulting & aligning with the squad’s broad range of stakeholders (e.g. other Product Owners), by defining road maps in Quarterly Business Reviews and by aligning with senior management.
• manage the backlog on a continuous basis and therewith drive the planning.
• plan and support model validation projects from a project management perspective. E.g. timely send the upcoming validation planning and first information requests to the stakeholders, i.e. organize kick-off sessions.
• deliver planning updates & project progress dashboards to the Tribe Lead on a regular basis, as well as contribute to the tribe’s budget requests to senior management.

• Validate statistical models and machine learning models in a wide range of domains covering fraud detection, early warn signals of financial and economic crime, AML/KYC, customer interactions, NLP and customer dialogue.
• Model Factory expert; supervising all model factory validations, creating standards and leading improvements to the model factory validation process.
• Experienced in writing Policy, Working instructions and Guidance documents within Model Risk Management
• Part of the Model Risk Management Ethics working group to ensure models in ING are used ethically.
• Doing several Product Owner responsibilities such as the PO Stand ups, retrospective sessions and internal KPI’s.
• Experienced presenter on the field of neural networks, model factories, Explainability & fairness in AI, NLP, and Wellbeing.
