Participation in a team of experts to elaborate a Quality Management Programme for European Blood Establishments (B-QM). The B-QM is an assistance and educational programme including training visits, audits, and learning tools.

The objectives of the working group are to raise interactions, information sharing and collaboration between EBA members regarding quality management, validation and supplier audits.

Organizing and implementing the Sanquin Audit Management Program (internal and external (supplier) audits), participating in audits.

Research program that aims at defining and measuring quality of primary care by developing and evaluating quality indicators.

Research on shared decision making and decision aids (in women testing for a BRCA1/2 mutation).

Research on informed consent and patient particpation in treatment decisions (in curative and palliative radiotherapy).

Participated in two international studies: " EU Concerted Action, Multinational scenario analysis concerning epidemiological social and economic impact of HIV/AIDS on society" and "Health and Social welfare in the Euro-Mediterranean Region".Research on "HIV-infection and risk behavior among transvestite and transsexual street prostitutes in Rotterdam".
