Healthcare professional with a passion for Oncology Field. I started my career as an Inpatient Medical-Surgical Oncology nurse with cross training on a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. These units exposed me to complex disease processes and strengthened my skills and expertise in Oncology Nursing. I served as a leader of Unit Council and as a Charge Nurse on the Medical-Surgical oncology unit. As a travel nurse, I worked at nationally ranked oncology programs. My travel experience has exposed me to different cultures, disease processes, healthcare settings and work dynamics that have developed me into a well-round nurse and human. Currently, I am work on a 40-chair outpatient infusion unit at The James Cancer Hospital apart of The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. In this role I serve as a Charge Nurse, Unit Council member and a hospital shared governance council. I am currently seeking to broaden my knowledge and use my unique skillset in new healthcare avenues that are changing healthcare and how cancer is treated.
