Associate Researcher at the Laboratory of Defense and Security Studies (LESD) at the Institute of International Relations and Defense (IRID) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.Research project - Peacekeepers at war: The Use of Force in UN Stabilization MissionsThis research project has at its central object of analysis the United Nations Stabilization Missions. The purpose starts from the initial impression that the peacekeeping operations - the most ambicious international conflict resolution mechanism created after the World War 2, developed and consolidated over more than fifty years of theoretical debate in Peace Studies and from experiments and lessons learned by the UN in contexts of violent conflicts - have undergone profound transformations in the context of so-called stabilization missions. This research is guided by the following question: what does explain the ongoing transformations in the UN peacekeeping model since the term "stabilization" was introduced in its discourses and interventions and what are the implications of these transformations from the perspective of maintaining and consolidating peace?

Former Microeconomics monitor scholar in the second-half of 2016. By the beginning of 2017 to the end of 2018 was monitor scholar in International Relations Theory. The activities consisted in the making of support classes with the purpose of revising the contents of interest for the subject, as well as tracking progress of the students over time.
