As a Senior Biologics Material Planner at Avid Bioservices, I optimize the ordering process for raw materials from point of initiation to final delivery for Process Development (PD) and Quality Control (QC). I also lead the Operations Support Team (OST) to assist PD and QC with sourcing raw materials, conduct return on investment analysis, and act as a liaison between suppliers/vendors and internal customers. I have a Master of Engineering in Biopharmaceutical Processes from Keck Graduate Institute, where I learned about upstream and downstream monoclonal antibody (mAb) processes using my background in chemical engineering as a solid foundation. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a minor in Disability Studies from New York University. My career goal is to merge the fields of medical devices and biopharmaceuticals, and I am always eager to learn new skills and knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, operations, and more.
